The Place, Ridgewood House, Widcombe Hill, Bath, BA2 6AE 0044 (0) 1225 333373 | email@example.com
The Place is conveniently located on the southern slopes of Bath, just a 15 minute stroll down to the city centre with views on the way across the city. It is a longer, uphill walk back to The Place from the centre and many guests take a taxi at the end of a busy day in the city for about £5-£6. We are very accessible by road as well as being near to Bath Spa railway and bus stations, detailed below.
From M4: Jct 18 onto A46, signposted towards Bath. After approx. 8 miles, you enter Bath on the A4 London Road. At the end of the London Road, turn left following the signs towards Bath University. Pass the fire station and at the second set of traffic lights, turn right, follow the road around a bend and go straight over a roundabout. After a short piece of dual carriageway, go through the next set of traffic lights and under the railway bridge. After 400 yards take the left hand filter lane and take the first exit at the following double mini-roundabout, immediately after the My Local convenience store, onto Widcombe Hill. Go up the hill for approx. 600m, passing 2 side roads on the left, both called The Tynings. You will see our brick driveway on the left hand side with a sign saying ‘Ridgewood House’ embedded in the garden wall. If you stop seeing houses on the left hand side of Widcombe Hill you have gone too far. Please come into the driveway and park on the left hand side of the drive. Welcome to The Place!
